Sng Yong Meng
Commercial software development and computing education have been closely connected parts of Yong Meng’s work.
He has almost 20 years of teaching experience at Singapore Polytechnic’s School of Computing, and continues to teach there, working with full-time students and adult learners in Specialist Diploma programmes.
Teaching has spanned programming fundamentals, data structures, front-end and back-end development, full-stack applications and AI chatbot development. His subject areas also include large language models and machine learning.
Yong Meng received the Excellence in Teaching Award (Adjunct) at Singapore Polytechnic in 2023.
